Hello Meet Shiv Cheema!

Shiv is a dynamic individual whose life story weaves together a rich tapestry of diverse experiences and passions. Born and raised in India, his journey has taken him across continents and into various fields. With over 20 years of healthcare experience in the USA, particularly in Nuclear Medicine at Garnet Health Medical Center, Shiv has built a distinguished career. His initial foray into the healthcare field began with notable institutions like NY Presbyterian Medical Center and Mount Sinai Health System.

In addition to his healthcare career, Shiv holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Vladimir State Technical University, reflecting his versatile academic background. His life outside of work is equally impressive. Coming from a sports-centric family—his father played for a national hockey team, his wife was a college basketball player, and his daughter excels in multiple sports including Lacrosse, Cross Country, and Track—Shiv himself has a rich history with sports. He has played cricket, table tennis, and soccer, with cricket holding a special place in his heart.

During his college years in Russia, Shiv’s enthusiasm for cricket led him to promote the sport by organizing and participating in cricket tournaments. This early advocacy for cricket has translated into his current role as the owner of the Carolina Eagles in the USPL league. Shiv’s goal with the Carolina Eagles is to help popularize cricket in the USA, sharing the joy and excitement that the sport brings to millions worldwide and making it a mainstream sport in the country.
